President, Chief Investment Officer

Dan founded Gimbal Capital Management in 1994 after serving four years as a private advisor for a West Michigan family. In addition to eighteen years of investment management experience, his diverse background includes commercial banking, corporate finance, and CEO of a manufacturing company. He has served as a director for several West Michigan business and non-profit organizations. Dan received his B.S. in Finance from Northern Michigan University in 1977.

DAVID S. HODGE
Security Analyst, Chief Compliance Officer

David joined Gimbal Capital Management during 2004 after serving four years as a promotional agent for the Michigan Department of Corrections. David received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2000 and is in the process of completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) curriculum.

MARY M. McADAMS
Customer Relations and Office Administration

Mary joined Gimbal Capital Management during 2007 after serving for three years as the Customer Service Manager for Falcon Waterfree Technologies and thirteen years as Credit Manager for the Bertsch Company. Mary received her B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Aquinas College in 1985.

Our professional staff has a combined forty-nine years of business and investment experience. We are large enough to enjoy the efficiencies of state of the art portfolio management, research, and trading capabilities and small enough to participate in opportunities that may be inaccessible to larger firms.

We are an Investment Advisor, registered with the State of Michigan as required by the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
